How to draw an manga/anime
Friday
Drawing of anime - differs from drawing the person and even has advantages. Here it is not so important to observe proportions of a body, but it is a little to adhere to rules of drawing of a people it is necessary.
Anime head: Usually start to draw anime's head with a circle.
The nose is more convenient for marking in the crossing of the two lines of the circle: bottom line and the line along the circle.
And-so we have two diagonal's lines because anime will be a little in half of turn. In addition, in crossing those two lines we have drawn the nose.
The anime mouth is on a line of cheekbones. Frequently anime has no mouth, but sometimes it is simply small strip as in our case.
Each artist has receptions of drawing. For example, eyes often recommend drawing in crossing two diagonal lines, I think, that it will be much more convenient. On video if we shall to draw two diagonal lines, that in their crossing and there will be an eye anime. However, the artist does not concentrate on it.

NEW YORK CITY "CLASSIC OLDSCHOOL" GRAFFITI
Thursday
http: //www.youtube.com/xMrdutch730x
Between the years of 1969-1974 the "pioneering era" took place. During this time graffiti underwent a change in styles and popularity. The city produced one of the first graffiti artists to gain media attention in New York, TAKI 183. TAKI 183 was a youth from Washington Heights, Manhattan who worked as a foot messenger. His tag is a mixture of his name Demetrius (Demetraki), TAKI, and his street number, 183rd. Being a foot messenger, he was constantly on the subway and began to put up his tags along his travels. This spawned a 1971 article in the New York Times titled "'Taki 183' Spawns Pen Pals". Julio 204 is also credited as the first writer, but didn't get the fame that Taki received. TAKI 183 was the first artist to be recognised outside of the graffiti subculture, but wasn't the first artist. Other notable names from that time are: Stay High 149, Hondo 1, Phase 2, Stitch 1, SEEN,Bosik 1, Bolst 1, Kinks 2, Septik 1, Joe 182, Junior 161 and Cay 161. Barbara 62 and Eva 62 were also important early graffiti artists in New York, and are the first known females to write graffiti.
Street art is any art developed in public spaces that is, "in the streets" though the term usually refers to art of an illicit nature, as opposed to government sponsored initiatives.
The term can include traditional graffiti artwork, stencil graffiti, sticker art, wheatpasting and street poster art, video projection, art intervention, and street installations. Typically, Street Art is used to distinguish contemporary public-space artwork from territorial graffiti and corporate art.
The motivations and objectives that drive street artists are as varied as the artists themselves. There is a strong current of activism and subversion in urban art. Street art can be a powerful platform for reaching the public. Other street artists simply see urban space as an untapped format for personal artwork, while others may appreciate the challenges and risks that are associated with installing illicit artwork in public places. However the universal theme in most, if not all street art, is that adapting visual artwork into a format which utilizes public space, allows artists who may otherwise feel disenfranchised, to reach a much broader audience than traditional artwork and galleries normally allow.

Sketching a Face- Basic Proportions
Wednesday
It's been a while since my last video. The reason was that I had to wait to get my new 9x12 Intuos to replace the old 4x5 Graphire I was using for the past videos.
Anyway... So I got a few requests of people wanting me to show proportions of the face and how to start it. So this is a pretty basic attempt at that. I recorded it at actual speed, but it seems really slow because I'm still getting used to this new tablet. I'm at least 3 times faster with paper and a pencil.
Programs used were Painter IX and Camtasia Studio. For those wondering what brush I used, it was a 2B Pencil with default settings, at a 2.2 size and with a light light blue-gray colour. Music is 'Sealed Door' by Project Majestic Mix and 'Eternal Wind' by Mister G and FFMusicDJ.
